The Son of Sardar: Episode One (Graveyard Rituals)

THE SON OF SARDAR: EPISODE ONE (GRAVEYARD RITUALS)

In a place called Madrasa, a king and his son were taking a walk in the royal palace. “Papa,” the son, Jagjit said. “Papa, did you know that my stuffed cat died?” “Really?” The king questioned. “You had a cat Jag?”
“I am not a Jug papa.”
“When did you get this cat?”
“Right after you banished mama to the treehouse.”
“Ah. Well, that woman deserved it.”
“Papa, I think that you were too harsh on mama.”
“What the Makhie? Son! Look at who you’re talking to!”
“But papa...”
“Shut up! I am informed that Lady Raga has just passed away and I was going to have the servant bury her, but I think I’ll have you do it instead.”
Jag was ruined! He didn’t know how to bury people! “Papa,” he asked cautiously. “How do I bury *gulp* people?” The king looked at Jag. “Son,” he said calmly. “You’re an A student. Figure it out!” “But A students are dumber than C students!” Jag replied desperately. The king looked at his son. “You are right!” He exclaimed. “C students are the Congratulations You Finished School kids and A students are Amazing, But Stupidos. Good job Jag!” Jag smiled weakly. “Do you think you could help me bury Lady Raga papa?” The king glared at Jag. “What the Makhie? Your cat just passed away! Bury her like you buried it!” “But I didn’t bury it papa!” The king had a “duh” etched on his face. “Just drop it into the grave idiot. What sort of A student are you? Oh right, you are hopi dopis. Never mind son, never mind.” Hopi dopis were considered as imbeciles, morons and dumbos. It was a great insult to Jag, but he knew that he shouldn’t provoke the king anymore. Obediently, he bowed and went to bury the lady. And if people walked past and saw the dirt all over his backside, well, that wasn’t his fault was it?
